Norman Finkelstein posted this video from a student at Ben Gurion University. It is a demonstration by students supporting the Flotilla slaughter. “In local terms, these are not even really right wing students we’re talking about here, just the political centre of the Israeli society. Demos like these were held all over the country since yesterday.”

Slaughter????? Really???
I guess the footage of all the weapons on the ship serves as no defense to the action of the Israeli commandos. The footage shows the soldiers being attacked by a mob of people, and the footage even shows an Israeli soldier being thrown overboard.
Israel clearly told them to go to the nearest port and the aid would be delivered to Gaza. If this was humanitarian mission, then explain why they didn’t port???
This was purely a mission to get a reaction from Israel, and have an international condemnation for self-defense actions.
This is an utter joke, no other country is held to this standard. I would say that the condemnation by European countries is a pre-caution so as not to anger oil-rich Arab countries, but it is more than that, it is an underlying anti-Semitic culture. No other country is held to this standard.

The footage is not being released by the Israeli authorities. Why? If the footage supports their version of events, then why do they refuse to release it?
Yes, it is called “slaughter” when commandos shoot a 19-year-old once in the head and four times in the chest from less than 45 cm away. It is beyond reasonable doubt that this is murder, not self-defence.
“No other country is held to this standard” — you are right. Any other country would be invaded for an illegal act of war such as this. Premeditated murder carried out by the Zionist military on orders from the Zionist government.
